Great gamepad, I use it for retro gaming on my Pi, although it works well on my Linux laptop also in the same emulation software that I use on the Pi. Good crisp button movement and it's breaking in nicely.

Excellent little controller for retro gaming at a great price

The controller works great, and was easy to setup in retropie. Only issue I've found is the cord could be twice as long.

I bought 2 of these and they work great for some retro emulation - I only have a pi 1 b+ so cannot use anything more modern than snes stuff. Price was good and felt much safer buying them here than some random ebay site. Thanks PiHut

While I can't say that I am entirely dissatisfied with this controller, I'm also not completely happy with it. In terms of looks it is a bit too dark and the plastic for the main body is rougher than the original SNES controller; 2 aspects that immediately give the impression that it's cheap (which, in terms of price, it actually is). The ABXY buttons are a bit firm, but respond nicely. They are not glossy like the original, but that's no problem. Where this controller underperforms for me is the directional pad. It's spongey and I get a lot of unintentional (primarily up or down direction) button presses because of that. Not a huge problem for every game (but definitely for some, especially fighting games or platformers), although it can be frustrating from time to time.

Is a good solid one, but the Buffalo one is even better
