“I ordered this believing the description! What a fool I was. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a bad product, it just isn't is good as they are saying! Firstly, I quite liked the idea of the logo on the top, albeit a bit flashy for my usual tastes, but it would at least make it glaringly obvious what it was- the case I received was completely unbranded, bar the small FLIRC logo next to the audio port. Where's my awesome looking neon blue? Secondly, the build quality. Now, the case is really robust and does not at all feel cheap, but the finish to the casting is appalling. On the inside of the case, there is so much flashing and blobs of aluminium left that a file is definitely a required tool. The holes for the I/O ports are just as bad- the milling machine that made those holes is in some dire need of calibration. These too needed an attack with a file just to give them a straight edge and real corners as opposed to some Salvador Dali idea of a square, and if you want to actually plug anything in to the USB ports, make sure you file them a bit wider. And lastly, the funny thermal pad thing that comes with it, throw it away before using it. The only thermal quality this has is the ability to retain heat (probably all of the heat and then some) within such a small squishy thing. Replace this with a piece of copper (other efficient conductors of heat are available) and some thermal paste. Other than that, it's alright. It's an expensive case. Better ones are available.”

“This is a high Quality case for the Raspberry Pi. I Purchased this because my Pi ran a little too hot in my standard plastic case with a tiny heat sink and this case brought the temperatures down by almost 10 degrees. With the old case and cheap heat sinks I had around 70C and with this case I have around 62C on a hot summer day under load. The only thing to point out is that on the pi 3 the micro SD card slot is not spring loaded anymore and its pretty hard to get the card out when using this case. If you need to change cards then best would be to attach some tape to the card to make it easier to pull out the card. And this case is not wall-mountable out off the box.”
