I needed to fit a camera to my 3d printer so that I could monitor what was happening whilst I was in other rooms doing other things. The Zero view was an excellent device to use in this application, it sticks to the printer door at any level required. I printed a back cover for the device to stop young (or old) fingers from touching sensitive components.

Easy to put together, especially if you read the instructions! It works almost perfectly. I am using one of these with my original 256MB RAM Pi B from 2012 but just as a camera holder. The other one (I have 2) is being used with my Pi Zero. Problems? The suckers adhere to the window perfectly, but the board twists in the vertical plane (ie up and down!) if I have cables hanging off the bottom of my Pi Zero. I have added a spacer at the top to twist it back down again. I have to twist it up for use on the Pi B, even though I have a long camera attachment cable. Maybe an adjustable screw device type thingy at the top and bottom to allow for this sort of adjustment would be useful in ZeroView Two (The sequel). However, I'm well pleased. A good purchase, so good, I bought two.

This little marvel is fantastic. I stuck some foam on the bottom edge of the front to force it to aim down a flight of steps, and the strong suction cups keep it stuck on the window. I only wish it had some sort of back cover because my dog likes to sit in the window, and he could short out the RPi Zero W by licking it or nuzzling it with his wet nose. I made a cover myself out of an old gift card by cutting out a notch for the HDMI port. It is thin enough to fit right on the Zeroview's existing male-female nylon standoffs' male threads. The hex nuts have enough room to hold the plastic in place. Hopefully future Zeroviews will come with a laser-cut back cover that is a few millimeters wider and taller than the RPi Zero W with cut-outs for the ports.

Just bought ZeroView and a Raspberry Pi Zero W, very quick delivery. I had a camera. I installed MotionEye, connected the Zero Pi to our WLAN and placed the ZeroView/Pi Zero W on a window. It now streams 24/7 what is going on outdoor or can be set to take pictures, when motion is detected. Works perfectly! The camera functions can be set remotely from a PC in a browser. A very cheap and extremely useful "outdoor" camera solution. It was immediately copied by a friend, who has got his expensive outdoor cameras stolen at his summerhouse. AMoeller

The Pi ZeroView is a great little device, and there is nothing else like it. It takes a few minutes to assemble and will allow you to stick your pi+camera to glass for whatever purpose you require. In order to get the 5th star I'd like to see this come with the ribbon cable and for the cable to be a bit shorter. As it is, I had to buy a ribbon cable to adapt the camera to the Zero W because it has a smaller connector, but it's a bit too long and you have to stuff it all between the board and the Zero View. If you want to stick your pi zero to glass for some time lapse or nature photography or something, this is a very nice option, make sure those windows are clean and you focus your camera before starting the real capturing!

I recieved two Zero View mounts for my Pi Zero W cameras. The setup is very simple and the suction cups hold the camera and Pi Zero on the glass with the first try. I recommend this setup for quick and easy camera mounting.
