Ordered two, first one was missing a nut for one of the screws. Meh, no biggie, hell maybe I lost it. Second package, had NO nuts for the spacers. A little disappointing. I'll try and mix and match some of the components from other builds, but a little quality control might be warranted.

I have been finding my way around Raspberry Pi for almost a year now with a view to maintaining grey matter activity and working/playing with one Grandson, but especially with two initial personal projects in mind. Both projects are domestic - one is using a Pi ZERO W with the Pi Camera to watch activity around our house. This requires either placing the Pi ZERO W and connected camera in some sort of secure/invisible box or in a window. Obviously the latter was easiest but I needed a means of fixing the camera in place and movable and Zero View overcame all the problems I was concerned with, holding as it does the Pi Zero and camera together on the inside of a window. Needless to say technology creates solutions as fast as challenges arise. E.G. Zero View secures the camera and Pi ZERO and allows power, USB and HDMI cable connections be to readily to hand but....is it enough? How long before ZERO View has a long legged sibling allowing a wideangle lens to be installed too..(there isnt room between the camera and the glass at present). Equally how long before a PIR movement detector can be attached, pehaps with minute theatrical shutters to concentrate its view? The range of apps offering use of Camera and PIR is already bewildering but they provide another practical way to learn how to use GPIO and my ZERO W already has its H added by me ;-) If only I had a 3D printer and CADCAM expertise :-( I think its just a case of watch, wait and surely...! Hoping...? I am ;-) "Applemany" A 41 year user of another 'fruit' machine ;-)

Received the ZeroView yesterday, and immediately installed a Pi Zero W and Pi Camera v2. Everything went together perfectly, once my fumble-fingers managed to get the nuts threaded properly. MotionEyeOS on the Pi Zero W, and I'm able to take see nice time-lapse shots of my backyard flowers and weather. Excellent product!

This is perfect for a weather timelapse project. Looks good on the window and suction pads stay stuck on for ages. Recommend.

Very nice piece of equipment. Holds the pi on the window. (Better than tape!)

The Pi Zero W easily fits into the ZeroView with the camera module and Pi Zero cable. I found the cable needed to be twisted as the ribbon cable socket and the seating of the camera module are at 90 degree, but it does fit together well. The ZeroView is good for fixing the camera on to a sheet of glass to look straight though it.

Used this with Noir Camera Module, Pi3 and Motioneye OS from conservatory window to identify night time critters in garden. Zero view is good cheap way to get camera stable and right up to window for reflection free pics/video. Unfortunately haven’t been able to set up Motioneye on our PiZero yet so full functionality not yet explored. Noir camera does daytime and dusk very well but not proper dark so will be progressing to IR camera soon for darker parts of the garden. Noir and ZeroView will be used to monitor lighter areas. Also I think that a ZeroView gubbins that could work with ZeroCam would be popular.
