The product does what it says. Some of the reviews here are already very valid. It's sometimes a bit far from the window, and that might cause issues with how things are shown. The suction cups are good. The items is difficult to mount horizontally, because once the suction cup is placed, it can't be moved easily (which is a good thing). The screws are nilon, which is a soft and fragile material, but should be ok. I don't know how they wrap the cable as shown on the photo, so expect a different result there.

This is a very well designed mount for the Pi Zero and Pi camera. Installation is simple and mounting to a window couldn't be easier. I am using this for a CCTV project and it works like a charm. I also got first class service from PiHut and the order went very smoothly.

The cable needed for the Pi camera is the mini ribon lead to Pi cam module lead. all good and well I thought as I have a short version (2" long) from the Pi Hut Zero case. However the Zero view is set up so that the camera module sits in the correct orientation and you dont have to make any changes in the setup to move the image 90deg. this means that you need a longer ribbon cable which I now need to order. Bit of a pain but not the end of the world.

Unlike the standard zero case this needs a special cable not included. The cable I bought from pi hut separately doesn't fit well and is a tangled mess. Too bad. Good idea poorly executed.

This pack is a really simple idea to help deploy a PiZero and PiCamera Module and look through a clear surface (like a window). The pack comes with nicely finished fasteners and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. However, for me the design fails in following key areas 1. The orientation of the camera module to the PiZero requires that a 90 degree twist is added to the special camera module cable. I would prefer if alternative camera module mounting holes were added to allow the camera to be rotated and avoid the potential damage to the cable. 2 The suckers provided are terrible. They are too small and distorted to provide any secure mounting. 3. The assembly can only look through 'out' a transparent surface and can't be mounted on any smooth surface to look 'in'. Additionally, don't try and use this as a dashcam, whilst it will work, the slope on most windscreens is such that the camera will be looking at the sky. Functional, but not ideal - 3 Stars
