“This kit works awesomely so far! I haven't gotten to using either sensor yet, but I currently have the thing driving around in a custom chassis. It was super easy to get up and running. My only complaint is that the box by default is just a bit too thin to fit a raspberry pi nicely, but that's an incredibly minor thing.”

“I purchased this robot for my 6-year-old child, who had limited prior knowledge or experience in hardware and software development. With my guidance, we successfully navigated through various code examples, making necessary modifications to tailor the robot to our specific needs. This turned out to be not only an engaging learning experience but also fostered creativity and problem-solving skills. we used phone charging battery pack to effectively power the Raspberry Pi. Additionally, utilizing VNC for remote code updates streamlined the programming process, adding a layer of convenience to our exploration. In summary, our journey with this robot has been highly rewarding. It's been a valuable tool for introducing my child to the world of robotics and coding while allowing us to customize and enhance its capabilities according to our preferences. I would rate this product a solid 4.5 stars in total. I've deducted half a star, not due to any shortcomings of the product itself, but simply because it doesn't quite reach the level of sophistication exhibited by the Boston Robotics dog :-)”
