Just bought this to replace my Plastic case for my Raspberry Pi 3 - the case gets warmer than my previous plastic cover, so it seems that it works leading the heat away from the device through the casing. One thing is that the display is no longer visible - and that actually is an advantage I think, as I didn't like the constant blinking when using it. (I am running Volumio only)

This is an excellent quality product. I'd recommend it, but save yourself almost £3 by buying it from Amazon! You can buy it cheaper from pihut via Amazon and get free delivery!

But... Quality of casting is somewhat dubious as it didn't take much to overnighter a screw, which now spins around. :/

Heat sink funtion is awesome, case does not become too hot, rasp runs at roughly 45 degrees which is optimal for its working conditions. And it looks good too. (am using the rasp for retro gaming)

Case looks good and keeps the Pi 3 cooler but I had to modify the case to show the activity lights.

Very pleased with this case. Nice finish. Only drawbacks i could find is the new friction-based sdcard holder on the PI 3 makes it very hard to pull out the sdcard. Cause of this, the case should have a slightly larger cutout around the sdcard slot. Also, this case does not have any wall mount holes on the bottom.

The case itself is great, it's functionality is as advertised (I love the "heatsink"), but I recieved it slightly damaged. It had a small scratch on the side with power/HDMI input and a small hole in the rubber finish at the top (see photos) - very likely damage during shipping.
