“As I needed a powered USB hub for a upcoming project of mine, the timing of the email I received from the Pi Hut couldn't have been better timed! The unit came in a well packaged box (so no damaged parts or pieces missing), and was all ready to go when it arrived. I currently have 3 devices, each drawing about 500mA each, plugged into the hub and even tho it has been running for almost a week 24/7, there is no sign of instability on the RPi itself, and the hub is doing a fantastic job of keeping everything running smooth. Even better than the 2A supply to the devices plugged in, is the fact that it truly DOES NOT leak any power back into the RPi. A few times I've needed to power down for a few brief moments, and removing the power supply of the RPi actually removes power to the Pi, even with the hub powered and plugged in!! So no more unplugging everything to to power down completely! I highly recommend this hub to anyone who needs to run multiple USB devices on the RPi, and doesn't want the power leak present in so many powered hubs out there! Thank you Pi Hut!!”

“Got the hub - but PiHut supplied the wrong PSU with it (wrong connector) it took several days for them to get the right one to me - slightly annoying when you want to get on with your project. On the plus side there was no quibbling.”

“Excellent value for money although now superseded by a newer model. Works really well powers the Pi and external usb drive no problem.”
