David Austin 'The Lark Ascending' has graceful semi-double flowers of a pleasing apricot colour and are produced from the ground upwards, held in large heads of up to fifteen nicely spaced blooms. They have a beautiful open-cup shape, loosely filled with about twenty petals, arranged around a cluster of golden stamens. It forms an extremely healthy shrub with tall, airy growth. For almost 60 years, David Austin Roses have been grown on their family farm in Shopshire. Much of the process is still carried out by hand, with every David Austin rose having been hand-budded, a traditional and intricate skill, and grown in dedicated rose fields in england, keeping English roses, truly English. All David Austin roses have a collective style with beautiful blooms and in most cases wonderful fragrance held on graceful attractive shrubs. A garden of these outstanding roses is hard to beat for sheer exuberance of flower and fragrance. The plant's growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season. Delivery Note: Please note that unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver plants to Northern Ireland. Category - Roses.
