“If the Ashwood, which was delivered on time, burns as good as it looks I will be well pleased. Shame the crate can not be recycled. Still. Lots of firewood.”

“Excellent quality of Kiln Dried Ash logs and was exactly as advertised on website. I was a little concerned that I could not track my order and when I checked "My Account" daily to see if my logs would be delivered, my status was always "Payment accepted". I had to email Luxury Wood to get an update and was eventually told to contact the Transport company Head Office but they did not have any details of when the Local Transport company would deliver. Anyway, the logs were delivered the following week on schedule and I am very pleased with them and with the price of the logs compared to the other companies I have used in the past.”

“Probably the worst load of wood that I have had in all these years. Huge logs; logs with sawn off branches protruding. Unable to splice - too gig to fit into wood burner. Will have to think twice in future.”

Our logs are typically sized between 8 and 15 cm in diameter, as many of our customers prefer larger logs for their higher heat output and longer burn time. We understand that log dimensions can be a personal preference, and while we aim to maintain consistency, natural variations do occur. For smaller stoves or wood burners, splitting some of the larger logs may be necessary. We always recommend keeping a splitting axe handy for this purpose. “I've ordered a number of times over the years and always been very happy with the timber supplied, the same this time. Curiously though all the protection was in place and undamaged there were signs of very slight damp on the ends of the logs. The delivery driver was also very helpful in placing where requested. My one complaint is the very short notification about delivery, I received an email at lunchtime telling me it was out for delivery and would come that afternoon, lucky we were in. I've since ordered a pallet of logs and despite asking if I could be notified the day before, I again received an email first thing telling me it was out for delivery for that morning. Great if you're always in otherwise not so good.”
