“I’ve only had good experiences up until now with Little Green Sheep, which is why I chose them when it came to buying a new mattress for my 3 year old, having used their mattresses in our SnuzPod and cot for our two children. The mattress was ordered, we received shipping notification, changed work schedules to be in for delivery - but no mattress came. I wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone at Little Green or the shipping company that day to find out where the mattress was. When it did arrive the next day it was lucky that we were in to receive it otherwise I don’t know what would have happened. Unfortunately, the incorrect mattress size was ordered (my fault, I didn’t realise the bed was a European size) but I thought the exchange process would be simple as it seems simple on the website. It took a very long email chain to arrange the wrong size mattress to be picked up for exchange and about a week for the mattress to actually be picked up after I had to chase customer services to tell me when the courier was coming. The mattress was picked up for exchange on 12 August and I haven’t heard from Little Green at all since then to say when the exchanged mattress is going to arrive - it is the 30th today. Very poor communication and customer service. Furthermore, the website states that items can be returned for up to 30 days in new and unused condition and “if possible” the original packaging, but when I was trying to arrange the exchange I was told if the mattress had been unwrapped it wouldn’t be possible to exchange, why isn’t this on your website but only written on very small stickers on the actual mattress packaging? Very dishonest. Im sure the mattress, if it ever does arrive, will be excellent quality, however the poor customer service and lack of communication in this instance leaves a lot to be desired.”
“I bought this mattress for my son who has eczema to try to reduce the amount of allergens he is exposed to. It arrived promptly and appears good quality. However, it is really very firm. Firmer than any other mattress I have ever felt. I have no knowledge of how firm a child’s mattress should be so e mailed the company for reassurance. They did not reply. That said, my son likes it and sleeps well on it.”
