Our little girl has had little green sheep mattress protectors from birth, starting with the moses mattress protector and then the twist mattress protector for a cot size. With a dairy allergy and subsequently lots of vomiting and nappy blow outs, they have truly stood the test of time. They keep her mattress dry no matter how wet they get, allowing a quick change in the night. They wash beautifully, have never stained and dry quickly. I have also tumble dried them with no problems. She has never over heated with them, nor been woken by a crinkly sound from the plastic backed ones you can buy elsewhere. They also stay flat under her sheet, so she stays comfortable. Being able to purchase two in a set is ideal for purpose, and cost effective.”
“I love the organic mattress protectors from Little Green sheep. This is the second one I've bought. They seem much more breathable and comfortable than the standard mattress protectors. They're super easy to fit as well because they sit on top of the mattress, rather than having to put them on like a sheet, and they don't move about. The only drawback to me is that I can't tumble dry them on a fast heat so they take a little bit longer to dry. All in all highly recommended though.”
“This is the second time I’ve bought these as I love them so much. They’re soft and fully waterproof without any of the related rustling noise or sweatiness you get with plastic sheets. I have one on my son’s cot bed and a spare in his drawers, and I’ve actually used my older ones on the sofa under a throw as we now have a newborn who likes to spit up and a toddler who likes to eat his breakfast on the sofa. They wash really well and even though I’ve bought more, my first ones look like new.
Yes they’re expensive but they’re good quality and worth the investment to save your mattress from little mishaps.”
