The knife came in black with a lovely paracord laced handle and belt holder, 12 inch is perfect, not small but not to big. Feels well balanced in the hand, I used it to cut basics like wood , paper and paracord, it cuts through them them like butter and I haven't sharpened it yet, the blade was sharp on arrival.
