“Very sharp knife out of the box. Handle just a tad too short to hold firmly with a proper grip but good enough for light work. I will say though, as I learned from my army days with a two inch scar in my leg, those sheaths will NOT stop the tip of the knife coming through. Some duct or scapa tape round the end will add a bit more piece of mind to prevent the tip of the knife coming through into an unwanted fleshy part of your body!”
