“I rate it poor because the first battery was faulty didn’t keep it’s charge. Then I had to take it to a motorcaddy agent who then took 2 weeks to test it and arrange a replacement. Then I was told the guarantee would commence from when I bought the original not from when I received the replacement. Oh and the agent said I should have bought a lithium as these are out of date old type batteries so why are you selling them ?”

To clarify, the service agents work on behalf of Motocaddy, and we follow their guidance when assisting customers with warranty claims. We do apologise that the testing and replacement process took time, it does vary depending on which agent you go to but Motocaddy sets this to ensure any faults are properly assessed. Regarding the battery itself, we can assure you that the model you purchased is a current product, not outdated. Both lead-acid and lithium batteries are available to suit different preferences and budgets, which is why we continue to offer both options.
