“This Garmin S10 model is a lot more flimsy than my previous model. It looks and feels cheaply made. It also occasionally does not follow the hole being played and has to be manually set to the hole being played. It does however do the job and the display is clear. Also the watch strap is an improvement on my previous model which easily split due to the wide slots in the strap itself.”

“Most aspects ok but always loses satellite contact on hole 7 on my course at Parkstone. This causes it to not go to the next hole entailing going to hole change every time.”

“Watch is relatively simple and good value , as required, but my main complaint is it seems difficult to charge via a plug or usb point. The lead only has to move slightly and it stops charging. The best place is directly into a computer, but this is not convenient when away from home. So although the watch works great when charged, knowing whether it is charged is unpredictable.”

“Bought this to replace my Bushnell which was playing up after 13 months. Garmin was recommended by a friend Android far I am pleased with the results. This is the most basic and doesn't connect to phone but it does everything I need. I also like the way it tells me when it is scanning for signals and courses. I only use distances and hazard info. Certainly a good choice as a starter gadget.”
