“Fish chowder is a favourite, my own and others. Yours is good but a little underspiced to my taste. You ought to try a few others with mussels,whelks and clams as the main ingredients. With a chicken stock and crushed potato base almost anything works. Ditto, if you use an olive oil and tomato base with fennel seed. Both freeze well.”
