“When I defrosted the mussels they were all open tried to tap to close them. Had to throw them all away. So not at all happy with the order .”

Hello Frances We say on our website that frozen mussels will not open and close like live mussels. Frozen mussels that don't open when cooked can just be popped open with a twist of a knife. Those that are open are perfectly OK to eat. What a shame you threw them away but you will know for next time!
