“The mussels were inedible as pretty much every mussel had some awful black stuff inside (not the beard) - see photos.”

“Considering the hype about your mussels I was very disappointed. I have received other seafood from you which has been good but I regret my decision to order your Whole Mussels. They looked great in the packaging and I expected them to be big and succulent. Instead they were of a mediocre size, some extremely small, and with many shells - I suspect from the very small mussels falling out during cooking. Which brings me to another complaint. You suggest best cooked from frozen which I did for time recommended by you. Silly mistake. They took three times plus to cook. Very annoying, I will not be buying these from you again but, instead, from Waitrose where I will save myself £15: less than £10 for 2kg and the saving of carriage. Marian Brown”
