“Really generous amount of fish. Potato-layer about half an inch or so, which was plenty. Good fish pies from M&S and Waitrose tend to be more potato than fish, but I preferred the Fish Society recipe. I do query the use of thyme in the pie, though. I think, perhaps, that the flavour of thyme is exaggerated by freezing, and I wonder if parsley might be less obtrusive, or maybe just a lighter dose of thyme. Even so, it is a very satisfying fish pie. First rate”

“Trays smashed. Refunded for one but, after opening the rest they were all smashed in transit. Not as much fish as expected. Taste good but lacking quantity.”
