“Love these a favourite when a child & still have the odd one with tiny crab in shell that brings back memories. After removing I add them to my own butter, virgin Olive Oil & garlic sauce.”

“The winkles looked ok on receipt (large and clean). Unfortunately they appeared to have been overcooked. The meat was all at the back of the shells and very difficult to remove. When I did manage to extract any, it inevitably snapped in the shell and that which I did extract had more in common with Whelk meat. It also appeared that no salt was used in the cooking process. Not to my taste. Very disappointing.”
