“Loved the taste of the Whelks from the Fish Society. The last time I had some was from a fish stall in Scarborough, not only were they expensive but tasted quite bland. Even though the F.S ones are frozen, once thawed out they retain more flavour than the allegedly fresh ones I had from the seaside.”

“Full of minerals and vitamins. Try slicing in three parts and quickly flashing in garlic and olive oil, add to a wrap or pitta bread with lottsa salad, with or without balsamic vinegar. Very tasty ! Experiment with a mild curry powder whilst flashing or add some chilli flakes , a dash of fresh lime does not go amiss. Enjoy... :)”
