“The Bottarga was delicious but there wasn't a great of it. Once the thick wax seal had been removed there was only approximately 200g.”

“Having seen Rick Stein praise the bottarga in his programmes I decide to give a go. RS knows a few things about high quality simple dishes. The bottarga I bought is the Greek hard dry variety - elegant flavour, thinly sliced on top of buttered toast and a sprinkle of finely grated shallots. A glass of bubbly goes very well with this as it goes with the meta salmon caviar.”
