Although they looked spectacular there was no flavour and very little meat. I've had these from Ikea and they were superb, unfortunately these were just awful.

The taste was good, but unfortunately the size of the crayfish were all disappointingly small! Crayfish is a very important delicacy in Sweden with special parties taking place in August - the traditional month for when crayfish was allowed to be caught.

We're sorry that you didn't enjoy the crayfish - we have many repeat orders on this item and a rating of 4.5 out of 5. In the past month we have sold 70 packs with no adverse comments. That said, they were not to your liking and I have made contact with you via email.

Quality of crayfish was good but they tasted of ABSOLUTELY nothing - not enough salt and not enough dill. Recepie should be - 2 tablespoons of salt per litre water. Huge amounts of dill - preferably ‘krondill’ but if not available several handfuls of long dill stalks chopped in half. Use a large saucepan, 1 litre of water per 10 large crayfish. Bring water and salt to a strong boil, add the clean live crayfish and put a lid on the pot Bring to strong boil again and add the dill. Boil for 10 minutes. Leave crayfish in brine to cool and leave for 24 hours in a fridge. Add some fresh dill before freezing.
