“The smoked roe we received looked very good and fresh. However when it came to tasting it, we thought that it was too mild in terms of smokiness. This was our first purchase from the Fish Society and compared with previous smoked cod's roe that we have bought, mainly from the top stores in London, we did not feel it had the deep smokiness that we like with cod's roe.”

“For some reason, this batch of smoked cod's roe was powdery in texture, very dry and not at all tasty. A shame, since I hoped for much better.”
