The mahi mahi fillets were absolutely stunning....succulent, meaty and of a good size...pan fried with a little chilli and lime butter, they were truly mouth-watering!

I recently purchased some Mahi-Mahi fillet from the Fish Society. I was looking to impressed some guest and googled what is the best fish in the world. Although this is very much depending on tests, I am incredibly surprised by it. The texture is very meaty, a little bit like tuna or sward fish but the flavours are fantastic. I pan fried it with only salt and paper as I really wanted to get the maximum of its lovely flavours, served with a drizzle of lemon and this was enough to do the trick. Amazing as simple as that. I printed an article from internet to explain to my guest what type of fish it is, also copied a picture of it to show them what it look like. It is a stunning fish. Originating from the sub tropic water, it is a commun fish there and it is available in abundance, so no bad felling about serving it. If you are looking at a testing something special, go for it. One last thing, I ordered 4 fillets for 2 separate occasions. The first 2 fillet I slightly over cooked them, Shame. The second two fillet were cooked to perfection, so watch your timing and cook it like you would cook tuna, no more, no less.

My first order with to Fish Society and the Mahi-Mahi was one of four items I ordered. It was very good. Having recently returned from Costa Rica where I had been eating fresh fish every day it was great to have the same taste at home here in the UK. (I also ordered some Nile Perch, wow.. very tasty too!!).
