“used to make a stock with wok-fried skate, saving juices, then added a few veg and then loads of clams - and other things - smelled good - but meretrix disappointing. Even shavings of bottarga - they just didn't work for me (I've tried them with similar fish - can't remember which fish - but not strong but white - will have to try harder) But do you get Palourde clams? hoping for similar, but better, results - think this why I perseverate - second time I tried this, but alas, not a palate hit. but thanks anyway (bought some razor clams from you some time ago, so will try then instead) kind regards, De Elisabeth Whipp”

“I'm sure the description on the website didn't include the word "cooked". However, on receipt, the packaging was very clear. It wasn't a really big problem as I heated them through but not the same as cooking raw clams. They were great quality though, not one single clam was closed. I will pay more attention next time!”
