“I didn’t think the instructions were great. I am a novice cook and I kept having questions. Measurements were not precise. It said half a tin of tomatoes. Is that a big tin or a little tin? I assumed big tin as it is the most common but why not use grams? It also said glass of wine. How much? Why not use ml? It also wasn’t clear when you added the wine. It said place saffron in wine but later when it said add saffron were you supposed to add the saffron with the wine. I did but I presume I shouldn’t have done as later it said add the wine. Why not video one of your chefs so novice chefs can follow along?”

“The first order I received was in good condition but had omitted the saffron package. The second order of Paella was complete so I knew that it was not my mistake. The instructions with this dish and others is not entirely accurate as other items are mentioned in the instructions which does not both me as I consider myself an experienced cook. Although I am close to Grimsby & Boston I still find it hard to find shrimps and lobster etc at times and so the Fish Society does fill a gap. I will continue to use the Fish Society.”
