I discovered the company after my local supermarket stopped stocking the langoustines and no luck with my local fishmongers who didn’t have any idea what they were. The langoustines were very well packaged in a insulated box. I made my order at 2pm and received the product by 11am the following morning. They were so delicious and I cannot recommend the company enough!! Am very pleased and will definitely be doing my orders here from now on. Thank you!!

Still perfectly frozen though very slight leak on arrival due to postal delay to Isle of Arran. Very good looking necrops though a wee bit smaller than I hoped, no matter. They’ll be en papillote before they can write home. Thank you.

When my box arrived, I was impressed by the weight and the shellfish looked good, but when I turned them out of the tray, the bottom was solid ice. There was at least half an inch of ice across the whole bottom of the tray. The ice took half a day to melt.

Hi Wolfgang, The ice is a crucial feature to ensure the langoustines arrive with you prime condition. As we say on our website: "For their journey, they are packed in a box with a layer of water frozen around the langoustine. This is done intentionally to protect the fragile little creatures from rattling around in the box and breaking. The weight quoted is the weight excluding the ice." You could melt the ice in 5 minutes under running water. Alistair

They were awful they were not cooked. Why wasn't that written on the box, cook them before serving them. I had to go to the kitchen to cook them and then we could eat them.

Hello Gunilla We're sorry that you didn't appreciate that the langoustine were raw. We say on our website that they are great when steamed or simmered and that they are raw under the heading, Key Properties. Hope you enjoyed them once cooked.
