“We were disappointed to find that it is not what we expected from Oscietre caviar at all. It had absolutely none of the characteristic 'nuttiness' that is normally associated with it and has absolutely none of the 'pop' one would expect. All things considered, we've had better lumpfish roe from the supermarket. The consistency is similar to that of a gel, rather than that of fish eggs. We were extremely unhappy about this. In all candour, it feels like we were sent something other than what we asked for. We have written to customer services, but so far nothing has been forthcoming from them. We've only had two spoonfuls from the tin and stuck it back in the fridge.”
