The sardines were fresh and tasted excellent. There were a couple of minor drawbacks, the presence of some scales and inconsistencies in the packaging and description regarding their origin.

Like that they are separately frozen so you dont have to defrost them all at once. Very fresh and perfect taste

Lovely fresh sardine fillets without the strong fishy smell you sometimes get - big scales, you do need to scrape carefully. So easy to cook and a great taste

Fillets still had sharp bones in them. very unpleasant they could scratch a persons throat. Care was not taken in filleting.

Delicious, baked some of them in oven with lemon and olive oil and ate them with home made pepperonata on toast, scrummy. Excellent.

Being Swedish, we eat Butterfly fillets a lot in different ways. The most traditional recepie is to mix a bit of cream cheese, fresh dill and Kalles Kaviar, which can be bought in Scandi Kitchen, totally Swedish or online. This mix you put between 2 fillets, dust them in plain flower and fried in butter. So your butterfly fillets were perfect for this
