“I’ve always loved Herring soft roe/melts. Until I found you online I hadn’t seen any for sale anywhere for years. They were a lot more expensive than I expected, however you get what you pay for and they were absolutely gorgeous; thank you!”

“Wonderful quality, not one bitter one where a silver sack has been ruptured. Milts were reasonably even in size and, so far , no squashed or severed roes. Perhaps this is because the portions are poured unfrozen rather than block sawn. Very pleased.”

“Absolutely delicious. As suggested I defrosted them slightly to rebag in smaller portions. I tossed them in seasoned flour and fried in oil and butter with a dash of white balsamic condiment. Served with hot buttered toast, they melted in the mouth. So much better than the little tins and will buy again.”
