“I changed my insurers to C. Nash recently, because the price of £104 was acceptable, but, due to an error on my part, my proof of no-claims bonus, as provided by my previous insurer, was not the maximum permissible that I thought it was, rather, it was only proof for two years, all the other years not being covered by a no-claims deal, as my policy was under a classic banner. This meant an extra charge of £58 being added to the policy.
After 5 days of inception, I decided to cancel the policy because of the unacceptable extra charge of £58.
The C. Nash cancellation fee of £25 stinks, and on this occasion, I believe the policy should never have been activated until the full facts were made clear.
I'm not happy at all about this, and the bike to be insured was never even put on the road, and since this debacle, said bike has now been sold, effectively ending my motorcycle interest of 25 years, in one feel swoop.
Rules are rules yes, but, good customer relations are even more important.
I will never recommend C. Nash to anyone, ever.”
