“Potential customers need to be advised that being claim free is not the same as having a no claim bonus as I found out to my cost. Having been riding bikes for the past 47 years I was unaware of these technical differences so it was a complete surprise when my initial policy was rejected.
This was as a result of having other insurance with another provider and nothing to do with Bennetts, however surely there needs to be some correlation between these two terms.
The ensuing cancellation of that initial policy and the resulting paperwork trail made matters somewhat confusing and slightly annoying.
Eventually however having spoken to Customer Services we managed to sort out a new policy with only a modest increase. Other than the above, I have had no other dealings with Bennetts so far and so it would be unfair to be critical and I am hopeful that they will deliver on all counts.”
“tried a copule of insurers for a " 3 month cover" and was shocked how much they wanted like twice the price for a 12 month policy from bennets so it was a no brainer”
