“I'd have given it a better rating but there were hiccoughs getting insured; plus I haven't had the misfortune to make a claim so can't speak from experience. Maybe it's an age thing but getting alarming emails (like when letters cross in the mail when everything is actually OK) didn't make me feel secure. I suppose we have to get used to people 'covering their derrieres' with firmspeak. I did however have a chance meeting with Elly, a staff member at the TT last week. She could not have been more assuring or polite or indeed helpful - she seemed pleased with the feedback, which is my way of thinking. If someone gripes, don't snipe, see how it can be avoided in future. I chose Bennetts because although cheaper options were available, at renewal, my previous insurer had bumped the price up. Bennetts actually offered a better deal with additional services. And there was seemingly less effort put into blinding me with offers or, frankly, what I call bullshit. I could be wrong but I got the impression that I spoke to sales people rather than insurance experts when things went wrong with my initial application. Not that they were pushy, just seemingly short on what to do about my enquiry. And I still only have temporary documents... Ah, I see below there is scope for comment - thank you:)”
