“I bought a top box after I had set up my policy. ..I declared it and was told I could not include it in my current policy and that I would have to cancel my current policy and get a new one...they quoted me over double the cost...just for a top box. Poor in my opinion. Will not be renewing. Two phone calls to bennets using my mobile cost me 20 quid each time...no I'm not exaggerating..it seems their system is designed to deliberately delay callers thus driving the profit on calls up...greed.”
“This was the worst experience I've ever had buying insurance online. Whilst most things went well. the problem was with sending proof of No Claims Bonus. Their email service for NCD was atrocious with them wanting to see a number of different documents, even to the point of wanting all documents provided over a series of emails resent on a single email which was unnecessarily ridiculous. I eventually received a letter stating that they would be ignoring all NCD proof, increasing my premium by 70% and adding a surcharge due to my failure to provide proof of NCD. At this point I lost my temper, used the telephone and sanity was restored, but why did I have to go to such lengths? I had always seen Bennetts as a reputable company previously. Suffice to say I doubt I'll renew.”
