“The worst insurance experience I've ever had. I would say the insurance was mis-sold in that they asked me for estimated annual mileages for my bikes, then turned these into mileage limits when they quoted. When I said I didn't want mileage limits, they replied that the process of increasing the limits if necessary was trivial and probably wouldn't cost much. Foolishly I believed them and bought the insurance. Later, worried, I got them to quote for increasing the mileages and the quotes were comparable with the original insurance cost. When I asked to cancel, within 7 days, they quoted a cancellation fee over one third of the total cost for the year. I'm still glad I left them - they were poison.”
“to start was ok I changed the bike for something similar in size and the price went up 1100 pound. when I wanted to cancel there was an additional charge over over 300 pound. I have now insured my bike for a 1150 pound cheaper and paying 110 a month cheaper than bikesure”
“After a few years break from biking (due to work)now retired found it time to get my bikes back on the road. Bikes now prepaired ready for the MOT contacted my old insurance firm which would only insure bikes seperatly was given the costs now well hiked up! Looked up for bike insurers on the computer to find at the top of the list BIKESHURE with a telephone number.You can actually talk to someone,which I did, a very pleasant lady.After taking all the details of the bikes and me and now charged with the task of the individual bikes insurance and multi bike insurance costs said she would phone back which she did,telling me there was only one quote and that was for multi bike insurance WHICH WAS CHEAPER than my old company was charging for one bike!!! It"s a no brainer no argument guess who wone ?”
