“I can not praise Hastings Direct enough, I took out their European Breakdown cover with the policy, it was only £50 at the time. I had an intermittant electrical problem while on holiday that I could not fix, the bike was taken to the nearest dealer some 50km away who had it for 3 days and claimed they had fixed it. During the time in the dealers we had a Clio hire car to use, all we paid for was the fuel, Hastings were very efficient and nothing was to much trouble.
The problem was intermittant and I have since replaced the faulty item. I had never had to use my breakdown insurance before but have taken out it out again for peace of mind.
You only know how good an insurance is when you have to use it, Hasting Direct is good.”
“Hastings website very poor to navigate and toggle through choices. You have to triple check that toggles for cover requirements haven't changed, otherwise you end up being overly penalised for so called admin charges.”
