“Not the 'Cheapest' quote but having used the post office before on van insurance I decided to use them again. Thankfully I have not had to make a claim but everything was simple to set up.”
“Tried to use this service to insure my motorbike . Filled in all the questions and then received a notice on the screen at the end of the process saying sorry we are unable to connect with your chosen insurer at this time.
Therefore I insured with another company without any problems. However on checking my bank account a week later found the Post Office had taken money from my account without telling me or providing any documentation.
It was extremely difficult to get this money back - therefore I have given you an extremely poor rating . I would have given you a worse one if possible.”
“It was not clear that the new insurer (Post Office/Devitts) wanted six year's NCB in writing. As I had got two years from Bennets the previous time, even though I had been working overseas for some of that time, by speaking to them on the phone I thought the same would apply.
It didn't and it cost me about three time more than I expected - and they charged me extra for the pleasure of changing the NCB on top of that too.
Very disappointed.”
