“Rampdale receives good reviews on websites and that's why I chose them but I have to say that the customer service could be a lot better. Threatened policy cancellation because I didn't send licence details and cbt copy promptly and I had to go to the DVLA website to get them an access code. I would have thought they could access all this information themselves as my car insurance company does. Then when they didn't receive all the pages of the previous no claims document and I asked if they would mind calling my previous insurers I was told no I would have to get the full copy of the document to them within the week or I would face a policy cancellation. So if you have lots of spare time to deal with the paperwork yourself I'm sure it's fine but if you just want to pay and ride knowing your fully covered then you will have difficulties with Rampdale.”
“The waiting time to get through is(on occasion) ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. 20 minutes is not an exception..and this would worry me in event of a claim.The background noise within the RAMPDALE offices is also sometimes deafening (with others dealing on phones) however the ladies themselves have in essence been helpful and knowledge if a little inconstant of information given. One lady helped me with the licence check at SWANSEA while another point blank refused... Life is I guess!”
