“Although I felt that the insurance was ideal for me and at the right price the person I spoke to seem to be reading from a script and wasn't particularly friendly and I was glad when the conversation was finished”
“Accessing the Policy Documents wasn't quite as straight forward as it might have been. My request to have the documents posted in hard copy was initially declined as their usual practice is to send these electronically. After explaining that this might not be suitable for many customers / that not all customers will have ready access to IT and/or printer, they did, reluctantly, agree to send the documents by post.
I have answered the related question ("Documents") above as "Good"- I have done this as MCE did, however reluctantly, send the documents by post and did so extremely efficiently; I could easily however have classified this category as being "Poor" or "Very Poor".
When it comes to renewal I will look for an insurer that will send out the documents by post without the need for me to have to argue the point.”
“MCE are a brilliant insurance I've never had a single problem with them. Whenever I have a query and call them they're always quick to reply and very helpful.
I rang the other day as my moped broke down they had a recovery down within an hour and even called after to see if the bike had been collected and if the problem had been sorted.

“Good service thus far. Used in the past. Only annoyance for me peraonally is that I specified exactly what I wanted when I took the quote and thats what I got.
The following week I kept getting calls trying to sell me extra legal cover or a higher breakdown cover than what i had or leathers cover. And the manner in which this is done is quite pressured and they word things as of its stupid not to take these things out.
I understand they there to make money but all these options were available to me to add on when paying I dont need to be hassled about it after.
apart from that good as any other Insurer - no one knows how good they are till you have a accident.”
