“Whilst I am sure 'Price Comparison' web sites, especially for Motor Insurance are the Bain of most Insurance companies lives, they serve a very worthwhile cause.
I would ordinarily choose to stay loyal to that Insurance company whom I had chosen for the last year or who I had had been with for a few years.
However, some seem to believe that as a captive audience you won't bother to check their prices and will blindly accept their latest quote even though it has increased beyond what one would find acceptable?
This is where comparison web sites are key, so having found my current insurers were less than competitive I shopped around. I had a few to choose from but chose MCE for the ease of obtaining a specific quote and the range of cover it gave me. Having only been with them a short while, I have to say I have been very pleased with their attention to detail and ease of communication. I only gave them 4 ⭐️and not 5 simply because I have had no further dealings with them other than the initial purchase.
However, I would be happy to recommend that they be given a chance to quote as I am sure most would be very pleased with what they got for their money.
