“Not happy. Had a bike insured for 10 months with the company that went bust.
Was told my 1 years no flames would be healed? When looking to insurance for a my new bike was told this can’t be included. It was to late to cancel as I needed bike that weekend. Not happy it still can’t be added?
Why tell me they would honer the 1 years no flame. Was an hour on the phone fighting this?”

“This company feels like a scam.
No one ever answers the phone, including the breakdown number. Their online chat is also very lacking or non-existant. My existing policy was cancelled because they went into administration. This was supposed to be picked up and continued by MCE UK (who I thought I was already insured with as they look like the same company), but after a while they decided to say "Nah, actually you aren't insured anymore and you need to renew now at a higher cost than before, and we will say we will refund you with a cheque in the post, however 3 weeks later you will still be wondering where it is"

“I have been with MCE for a number of years now and only stay with them because they are the cheapest on the market and it is a legal requirement. Their customer service is nonexistent and purely functionary. If you are looking for anything other than a legal cover to ride your bike I suggest you pay the extra and go with a different company.”
