“Correspondence process broken.Everything is in PDF format which cannot be read using an android device. This was a known problem to them. Resulted in the RAC cancelling policy as I could not read their request for proof of no claims. By the time I returned from holiday it was too late. They need to be more flexible.”
“The following complaint has been logged with RAC 3 times (with a promise of a 5 day response) and no replies EVER received I have been with the RAC for 15 years but will not be next year.
I took out motorcycle policy with RAC in the belief that it was a good deal based on RAC members receiving extra discount.
It transpired that they only "front" Devitt insurance.
In fact I did not get any sort of discount but in fact actually paid nearly £30 extra by going through the RAC rather than going direct to Devitt where I could have got the identical policy.
Don't bother complaining because you just get no response.”
“Whether it's policy or the market norm I totally disagree with your £30 fee for changing something on a policy. As a result of this it has cost me an extra £60 in two weeks, one of which to simply inform you of going from a provisional to a full license. Not happy and will consider reviewing future insurance purchases very carefully next time.”
