And had a letter every day after that until I was able to provide them even though I called them several time to explain I was waiting for them to come in the post so called standard procedure
Now I asume they have them because they have stopped sending the letters and calling me not even phoned to say they have them and everything is now ok very poor service.”

“On the whole I was happy with choosing Motorcycle Direct, but there were a couple of issues that lost them getting a better review from me.
Firstly, due to my own error, I had to cancel the first policy I took out after 10 days. The person I spoke to on the phone apparently wasn't 'cancellation trained' so when after another 2 weeks I still hadn't received a refund, I called the company again, who said the policy hadn't yet been cancelled - they cancelled it then, but when the refund came it was less apparently based on the fact that I'd had the policy in place for almost a month by then.
I phoned again to query this, and was eventually told I would be refunded the original amount agreed at the 10 day point of (attempted) cancellation.
However, I still received no further refund after another 3 weeks, so called again and was told they were just about to do it!
It appeared in my account 2 days later. I feel I had to fight for this way more than I should have.
The second issue was with the second policy - I received an email request urgently asking me to provide a copy of the back of my licence card (I'd missed this out when I'd originally posted the additional documents to Motorcycle Direct). I replied immediately with email copies of both sides of my licence, but had no response. A few days later I sent the email again - still no response. Upon sending the email a third time I finally got a response saying all was received, thank you.
Obviously I feel this was a poor response time, particularly as the request was apparently 'urgent.'
I'm left thinking that this company will get things done, but it takes some prodding and nudging! The price was cheaper than most other companies, but their customer service has been lacking so far...
