“Unfortunately Performance Direct were dreadful, to cut a long story short they took the initial payment from me then increased the price. I had given them 100% correct details but they didn't pass them on to the underwriter. I asked them to honour the deal as it was their mistake and they refused. I asked them to refund my deposit instantly and they couldn't. But perhaps the worst part of the service was that I was actually stuck in a bike shop whilst trying to resolve this, it took nearly four hours to complete the transaction, nearly all of this time I was either in a phone queue or waiting for them to call me back and the calls never came! The only reason I took out the policy was because I had to be somewhere else and just couldn't afford to go through the process again. Incompetent and dishonourable.”
“I needed insurance on my Honda VFR 750RC30 and was very pleased with the quote ( almost half what I paid last year) the bike is an icon and was made in very limited numbers and is worth in excess of of £25000.00 so found it very difficult to even get a quote! Very pleased.”
“Good and efficient service with competitive quotes. Helped me through an issue regarding parking my bike in a garage away from my home - thank you, I would use them again.”
“I put in all my details on line got a quote online which was happy with went through to pay and was told I had to phone up to pay.
Not a problem but when I phoned 2mins waiting on hold I give the ref number I was cut off I rung straight back nearly 20mins on hold this time.
When I got through I give ref again then had to go through all details again that I had just put online for example where bike is kept etc.
So after 10mins of this the guy said I just got put you through to the security team and I'm finish which was not true after waitin 5 mins to get through to them I then had to go through every question again that I had put on line and what I just gone through with the guy earlier.
Poor service 50mins on phone off my mobile which prob cost me loads to keep repeatin my self”
