Simply AWFUL! had the policy for 2 months then had to cancel as no longer needed the bike. I was then told the cancellation fee was the remaining 10 months! I refused and cancelled my DD only for them to help themselves to my card details to take the funds. I had to log it as a fraudulent transaction with my bank to claw funds back. Also, they NEVER issued me with any form of insurance documentation. SIMPLY DREADFUL AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I emailed twice. Once to cancel my policy in the first 14 days as not keeping the bike and then again 10 days later as they hadn't replied. I have now received a filthy letter from them telling me they are taking £ 50 out of my bank account. Not happy and taking it further.

As a fan of Churchill insurance, car, house etc, was very disappointed with the service provided on bike insurance, repeated telephone calls and promise of getting back to me which never occurred. Letter crossing in post, no reply to email enquiry, a very stressful experience, which is now sorted. But as I stated fan of Churchill with every thing else, recommend to all friends and family, as they are very professional and extremely helpful. BUT bike well, we will have to wait and see when the renewal comes round, as it stands would not recommend for bike insurance.

Churchill or should I say Devitt who were the brokers who I dealt with first accepted my money, then refused to accept my bike existed and then declined cover, returning only a fraction of my money. Following several frustrating and less than polite phone calls, they still refused to accept my bike existed, but agreed to call it something else to provide cover. The bike in question is a Suzuki VLR 1800, not a huge seller, but not rare. They made a simple process quite complicated and annoying.
