“It's my second time with eBike (with a gap of several years and a different bike). As easy to arrange the policy online as it is with others (presumably). A big advantage is being able to list bike alterations including future mods without having to pick up the phone. I have never claimed through eBike so cannot comment on that aspect. I claimed through Bennetts (AXA) two years ago and they were very reasonable - I would have used them again but some of their policy wording was too ambiguous for my situation. My only negative comment on the eBike is that my 4 year NCD is not protected.”
“Initially I had significant problems with emails and phone calls back and forth in order to clarify something. Until I got in touch with Andrew Wallin's office it was a nightmare. However, I stayed with them because of the way Andrew's team resolved my concerns. If I have a problem and it is dealt with effectively and efficiently that's all I ask. Need to look at the overall level of competence in call centre staff but I appreciate that will always be an ongoing issue - Andrew Wallin's team were excellent.”
“Filled out the quote on-line with all relevant information. Got the quote, all was good. A few weeks later I get a call, insurance increased by £500 because of what I wrote down on the on-line quote!! Quoted one price, a few weeks later up the premium ......... Piss poor!”
