The lesson plans are great and very imaginative. I normally use them with a 'one-off' approach in that I utilize the plan provided by TEFL as the basis of the lesson, but tailor the lesson plan to meet my classroom needs and interests.

These lesson plans are great to reference and create my own. I can lay out my lessons with the same outline as these. The content is also really helpful to view.

I was excited to use the lesson plan booklets, especially since I thought they would help me better form a grasp on lesson plans. And in some ways, the booklet did give me valuable, creative ideas regarding longer activities. And I loved the use of different colors to organize the lessons/important points. However, the lesson plans didn't follow the structure of PPP or Skills lessons, not as we learned in a TEFL course, which made them confusing to read. There were sections that just said "warmers" but were blank and didn't offer any warmer examples. There were no notes, hints, or pointers as to how the activities would play out. There were also numerous punctuation and grammatical errors in the PDF, which didn't boost my confidence in them. Ultimately, I think making sure teachers know which types of lesson plans are in the PDF would have helped, as well as having a few lines on how activities should run, and how many sts the lesson would have been suited for. Also, consistency. While some plans were better structured than others, there didn't seem to be any real consistency throughout the PDF. One plan had no warmers, another had pre-planned info, another was just a series of questions, and so on. If I'm going to spend quality money on a product, I expect few errors and for an invaluable tool that's easy to navigate.
