“I LOVE this course! I am taking it slowly, because I have ADHD and tend to hare through things, inattentively and skim quite a lot, but this course has made me want to do the best I can. I am Italian by birth, but I have been an English speaker since I left home, at just 15, travelling around and moving to the UK at just 18. So I had to learn to communicate with people of all walks of life and origins, in English, the world's Lingua Franca. I never struggled, finding it easy to quickly acquire excellent grammar and outstanding pronunciation, so much so most people think I am native, so teaching English attracts me, but I would find it hard to empathise with students who struggle. This course is making me work, not just on grammar, but understanding what are the harder points of English language learning, and making me reflect and look hard at the exercises and explanations provided. I find the teachers engaging, especially Alan, who always includes a set of really clear pointers in his lessons, on how to make variants in the use of grammar that make a huge difference. Thank you for this, at 66 I am facing financial challenges, owing to the low State Pension in the UK, and teaching English as a foreign language would perhaps help me make a small extra income. But it might also serve to help me teach Italian to foreign language students, should the opportunity arise, using the sound foundation and principles this course is equipping me with. “I was afraid when I started the course. I am a native English speaker but gramma was never something I paid attention to. Even as I am trying now, I’m wondering, is that right? The pace of the course and the method used for teaching has turned my learning into fun. Honestly, I look forward to study and miss it when I’m unable to get to my desk. If you are considering teaching English as a second language this is the course for you. I was very surprised at affordable the course was also.”

“As a freshly graduated university student, this course was amazing. Not only was I able to complete everything in my own time, but my tutor Alex really helped me when I was confused or had questions on my assignments! Not even in my college classes did I have so uch practice. I am absolutely more confident now to take on teaching abroad!!!”

“Hi I have started the Grammer section .there is allot of material and so much to remember ..I hope j can finish this course in 120 hours as I see I have invested more that 50 hours just on this section.. i hope the other modules are shorter as I see there is allot of extra studies one needs to do with himself ..”
